NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A brand new high-rise currently under construction will soon change the Nashville skyline yet again.
Called Pendry Nashville, the development will bring a whole new look to the south end of the Gulch near downtown Nashville. The high-rise will be a mix of residential spaces, including nearly 150 luxury condos and 180 guestrooms for the hotel.
According to their website, hotel rooms will have “sweeping city views,” an all-day bar, a rooftop pool and other luxury amenities.
Pendry Nashville will add to the hotel’s development portfolio, which includes cities like New York City, Newport Beach, and Washington, D.C.
According to Metro Councilmember Jacob Kupin, who represents the area on the Metro Council, the Gulch just celebrated 25 years, making the addition of the Pendry another example of how much the neighborhood has grown since its inception. It also highlights how vital it’s become in drawing people to Nashville.
While one building was demolished to make way for the luxury residence, Kupin said the Bill Vorhees Building was preserved.
“It’s a great example of newness but also established history in our city kind of blending together and so just cool to see,” Kupin said. “Nashville has been built on so many incredible places and people and things, so to see that honored and kept is really great.”
The high-rise will likely make its debut in 2027, according to Pendry Nashville.
